SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police in Suffolk say they are investigating a fatal shooting at a Wawa that happened Saturday night.
Officers responded around 6 p.m. to the store in the 2900 block of Godwin Boulevard. Shortly after arriving on the scene, they were told a victim had arrived at a local hospital with life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead.
He was identified on Monday as 18-year-old Torico Reaves Jr., of Virginia Beach.
The incident remains under investigation and no additional information is available.
