NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Three people were taken into custody on Friday following an attempted traffic stop that turned into a vehicle pursuit.
Norfolk police observed a stolen car driving on Newtown Road near the intersection of East Virginia Beach Boulevard and initiated a traffic stop.
Refusing to stop, officers continued to pursue the vehicle until the driver came to a stop.
No injuries were reported.
The investigation remains ongoing.
