2 arrested in stabbing at Yorktown Motor Lodge

YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Two people were arrested in connection with a stabbing in York County, according to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded Friday morning to a reported disturbance at 8829 George Washington Memorial Hwy. and found a man with a non life-threatening stab wound.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to survive. Authorities say they also took another person to the hospital with minor injuries.

Deputies arrested 40-year-old Christopher John Parks and 41-year-old Deanna Marie Mann Wilson for maiming. Both Parks and Mann were taken to the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.

No other details are available at this time, but authorities say the case is still under investigation.
