Greenbrier Farms Summer Bash 2024
Sunday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Greenbrier Farms; admission is free and open to the public
Celebrate the end of summer at Greenbrier Farms. With water activities, carnival games, hayrides, prizes and more, it’ll be full of fun before heading back to school. There will be food, a DJ and more. For $10 participate in the dunk tank by Dunk a Department, with proceeds going to the police department and sheriff’s department. Back to School Market
Saturday, Aug. 24 from 1-5 p.m. at Afterglow Brewing, 2330 Bowdens Ferry Rd., Suite 600
Afterglow Brewing is hosting a back to school event with unique vendors, food and more. The vendor market will include a mix of jewelry, food, treats and more. Paul Urban will perform from 6-9 p.m. Enjoy food from Hades Woodfire Oven as well as Mane Events Drink Truck with non-alcoholic beverages available.

Seawall Art Show
Saturday, Aug. 24 and Sunday, Aug. 25 on High Street between Crawford Street and Court Street; the event is free and open to the public
The 52nd annual Seawall Art Show will bring work from over 70 artists to downtown Portsmouth. Enjoy live entertainment, artist demos, local food vendors, kids activities and more. There will be a variety of works from wood carvings, oil paintings, clothing, glass art and more. Parking will be free in local garages. The schedule for Saturday is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday it is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Virginia Beach Funk Fest Beach Party 2024
Friday, Aug. 23 and Saturday, Aug. 24 from 6-11 p.m. nightly at 24th Street on the beach
For 14 years, the funk fest has been right at the Oceanfront! Check it out with two-days of music, food and vendors on-site. It’s a party right on the beach. Here is the lineup, below.
