VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Beginning on Sunday, Providence Road from Princess Anne Road to Kempsville Road will undergo roadway improvements.

Milling and paving operations are expected to produce traffic delays, congestion and some construction noise.

Advanced warning signs will be posted to notify motorists of lane closures. Drivers are urged to use alternative routes when possible.

All work on this project will be done from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting. It is set to be completed by Dec. 7.
