PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth police are investigating a shooting that left one woman injured Wednesday morning.
According to police, the shooting happened around 3 a.m. in the 3700 block of Columbia Street, near Rodman Avenue.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a woman with a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
There is no further information to release at this time.
