PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth Police are investigating a shooting that happened near the 100 block of Grand Street.

Police say a man was seriously wounded by a gunshot and taken to a hospital for treatment.

We are working to learn how the man is doing and if police have any suspects.
