Man dead in Portsmouth shopping center shooting

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A man has died after being shot on Airline Boulevard Wednesday afternoon, Portsmouth Police said.

Officers responded to the 2800 block of Airline Boulevard for a reported gunshot wound around 1:25 p.m. When they arrived, they found Andrese Jennings, 24, with life-threatening gunshot wound injuries, police said, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.


Police are asking for the public’s assistance finding 22-year-old Alejandro Isiah Marrero and 20-year-old Kamari Shaheem Vick. Both individuals are persons of interest and considered armed and dangerous.
