PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth police are investigating overnight shooting.
Around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the 700 block of Queen Street for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man was rushed to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
