PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth detectives say they found the body of a 16-year-old homicide victim Tuesday morning while investigating the shooting of an 18-year-old.
Police say the homicide victim’s body was found just after 7 a.m. Tuesday near the 4400 block of Hatton Point. He died from a gunshot wound, police say.
The boy’s body was found just hours after police responded to High Street for an 18-year-old gunshot victim. His injuries were not life-threatening.
At this time, police have not released additional information in the case.
