PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A man is dead following a shooting in Portsmouth on Monday night.
Police said the call reporting a person with a gunshot wound came in around 5:15 p.m. in the 600 block of Jefferson Street. When officers arrived on the scene, they located 36-year-old Victor Green inside a gray Infiniti with a fatal gunshot wound.
His juvenile child was also in the vehicle, however, they were physically unharmed.
The homicide investigation is still underway, but no suspect information is available at this time.
