PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The Cavalier Manor Recreation Center in Portsmouth will be closed for several months.
Portsmouth Parks & Recreation announced that the facility is being renovated. The rec center closed to the public on Friday, Nov. 22 and renovations are expected to be complete in late spring of next year.
During the closure, after-school programming will be held at Lakeview Elementary, located at 1300 Horne Avenue, Monday through Friday, from 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
