PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Charges against a Virginia Beach woman in an alleged home invasion that led to a deadly-officer involved shooting have been withdrawn.
Erica Brown faced attempted burglary and firearms charges. Both charges were nolle prossed in court this week.
Police say she and Willie Marable were involved in a home invasion on Navajo Trail. Officers wound up shooting and killing Marable when they say he would not drop a gun.
No officers were hurt in the incident.
