Police: Woman stabbed in Newport News, suspect wanted

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A woman was stabbed in Newport News on Nov. 16, police said. The suspect has not been arrested.

Around 8:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 4100 block of Newsome Drive in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found a woman with a stab wound. She was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.


The incident appears to be domestic-related.

Warrants have been issued for 36-year-old Katie Wilson on charges of malicious wounding, domestic assault and abduction.
