PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A woman was shot on London Street in Portsmouth early Saturday morning, police said.
Portsmouth Police responded to a call for a shooting in the 300 block of London Street around 1:56 a.m. When officers got to the scene, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound, police said, and she was taken to a local hospital.
Police did not offer more details at this time.
