NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A woman was charged with trespassing on school property after a dispute with a school bus driver in Newport News on Oct. 10, police said.
Around 7:50 a.m. that Thursday, police responded to the area of Colony Road and Aqueduct Drive in response to a dispute. The woman had reportedly gotten out of her vehicle and had a verbal exchange with the bus driver before the driver closed the window. Police said the woman then went and opened the school bus door to continue the verbal exchange.
Officer responded and separated the adults before placing the students on a different bus during the investigation. The woman, 34-year-old Jazzmaine Johnson, was later charged with trespassing on school property.
