HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton Police said Tuesday a shooting in the 100 block of Northampton Drive was an accidental, self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The call for the shooting came in at 9:39 p.m. Monday.

Hampton Police dispatch said at the time that it was unclear whether the injuries were life-threatening.
