PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — The Portsmouth Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Jamari Keeling, the 20-year-old suspect involved in a shooting incident on High Street.
On Tuesday, Oct. 22, Portsmouth police responded to a report of shots fired in the 2000 block of High Street at approximately 2:50 p.m. Witnesses informed police that an individual was shooting from a gray SUV near I.C. Norcom High School.
Keeling, the driver of the vehicle, has been charged with Shooting from Vehicle to Endanger Persons. His last known residence is a downtown Suffolk, VA, address.
