HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A Hampton man has been arrested in connection with a maiming that took place last Friday, police said.
Koryn Tarver Jr., 25, of Hampton was arrested Saturday and charged with one count of malicious wounding, discharge of a firearm within a dwelling and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Hampton Police responded to the scene for a shooting in the 1400 block of Old Buckroe Road on Friday, police said.
The call came in around 2:51 p.m., police responded to find a 26-year-old Norfolk man with life-threatening injuries. Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim and suspect were inside a residence together. An altercation occurred, which resulted in the suspect firing at the victim. The suspect fled prior to the officers’ arrival.
