NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — The FBI Norfolk Field Office is working alongside the Newport News Police Department to identify two suspects in connection with a Truist bank that was robbed at gunpoint on Aug. 6.

Police say it happened around 3:24 p.m. at the bank at 397 Denbigh Blvd. They say two black males in masks entered through the front of the bank, and one produced a gun while the other took cash from the register.

The suspects then left in a gold, four-door Hyundai sedan that headed south on Warwick Blvd. One suspect was wearing tan pants with a black hooded jacket and pink face covering, while the other was wearing all black clothing with a black ski mask.

Police shared photos of the two suspects on Friday afternoon.
