NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – PETA is rescuing animals in Turkey after the recent earthquake.
On February 6, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake killed over 47,000 people in Turkey and Syria.
PETA says they have rescued over 100 cats, dogs and other animals from the earthquake debris.
Many animals were trapped in buildings and left behind during the devastation.
