GLOUCESTER, Va. (WAVY) — A log truck overturned in Gloucester County Thursday afternoon in the area of Lewis B. Puller Memorial Highway.
According to a social media post from the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office at around 2:20 p.m., the westbound lanes at Lewis B. Puller (Route 33) are temporarily closed.
An image provided by the sheriff’s office showed logs dumped onto the roadway, with multiple lane closures.
Motorists are urged to consider alternate routes to avoid this area.
Just after 3:30 p.m., VDOT Fredericksburg posted about the crash, saying all eastbound lanes and one westbound lane remained closed, but that wreckers were on scene.
