Tree crushes cars in Norfolk, causes thousands of outages

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Around 3,000 customers lost power in Norfolk on Sunday, according to Dominion Energy.

The number dropped to just over 1,500 as of 6:50 p.m. All power has since been restored.

In the same area, a tree fell and crashed into a power line. Reports from 10 On Your Side on the scene said that the tree crushed three cars and almost pinned a man inside his car.
