Police investigating triple shooting on E. 25th St. in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Police are investigating a triple shooting Friday night in Norfolk.

According to a tweet from the Norfolk Police Department, the call for the shooting came in around 6:20 p.m. in the 800 block of E. 25th Street.


Police say two women and one man were taken to the hospital. One of the women victims is said to be in critical condition.

According to the incident report, officers made contact with the two women victims, who are described as being mother and daughter. The mother had a non life-threatening gunshot wound to her leg and the daughter also sustained a non life-threatening gunshot wound. Despite the daughter’s injuries, she was still in critical condition at that time.

The incident reports also said that the male victim walked into Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non life-threatening gunshot wounds.

No further information has been released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
