NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police are investigating a shooting on Grandy Avenue that occurred Friday evening.

According to officials, police responded to the 2600 block of Grandy Avenue around 4:30 p.m. for reports of a gunshot victim.

Officers arrived and found a 28-year-old man suffering from a non life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover.
