NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man is dead after a shooting near East Princess Anne Road Thursday night, police said.
Norfolk Police responded to a call for a vehicle accident in the 1500 block of Kerrey Avenue, near East Princess Anne Road, around 8:22 p.m.
When officers arrived to the scene, they found the driver of the car, later identified as 48-year-old Christian J. Williams, suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Williams was then taken to a local hospital, where he was later succumbed to his injuries.
An investigation revealed the shooting itself occurred in the 4600 block of Kincaid Avenue. Williams then drove his car to Kerrey Avenue, where he crashed into another car, police said.
