NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A 18-year-old man is dead after being shot Thursday evening in the 6400 block of Faraday Court in the Norview area of Norfolk, police said.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a gunshot victim around 8:25 p.m. in the 6400 block of Faraday Court. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 18-year-old Anthony Coppock Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound
Police say Coppock Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further information has been released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
