Update: The individual was confirmed to be a 14-year-old boy, who later died.

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A person on a bicycle was injured following a crash Wednesday evening at the intersection of East Princess Anne Road and Ballentine Boulevard in Norfolk, police said.

Norfolk Police are investigating the crash — the call for it came in around 9:45 p.m. Police said the bicyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
