NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – For the second year in a row, Believe in Learning Norfolk is set to launch the “Summer of Learning.”

Believe in Learning Norfolk, in partnership with Norfolk Public Library and more than 100 community groups and organizations will bring the Summer of Learning back in 2024!

Erica Woods-Warrior, Ed.D. is the Director for Believe in Learning Norfolk. She spoke to WAVY about the Summer of Learning at the Digital Desk in a live conversation. Watch the segment in the video player on this page.

Summer of Learning will run from June 22 to Aug. 3 and will feature six weeks of engaging learning opportunities for all ages, adults and children.

You don’t have to live in Norfolk. Anyone is welcome. Woods-Warrior said during last year’s programing, people came out-of-state to participate.

The theme for this year’s Summer of Learning is Adventure Begins with You. The goal of the program is to inspire lifelong learning and make opportunities available and accessible to the public.
