NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Norfolk Police are now investigating after a man died following an overnight shooting in Norfolk.
Police say it happened at 12:50 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Nicholson Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found 29-year-old Jonathan L. Bassette suffering from gunshot wounds.
Bassette was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, but later died a the hospital.
No suspects have been identified at this time.
