NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting that left a man dead.
According to police, the shooting happened just before midnight in the 5400 block of Greenplain Road, in the Crown Point area west of JANAF and Lake Taylor.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a man with life-threatening injures. He was taken to the hospital, but police said in an update Thursday morning that he had died. He was identified as 22-year-old Marvin J. Milton Jr.
There is no suspect information to release at this time, and detectives have not released a possible motive at this time.
