NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Norfolk Department of Public Health announced they will be hosting weekly COVID and Flu Clinics.
The clinics will provide vaccination services every Thursday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. until Feb. 27, excluding the third Thursday of each month. The department is also hosting a Walk-In Vaccination Clinic on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Each clinic will be held at the Norfolk Health Department building, located at 830 Southampton Avenue. No appointments are necessary, but people are encouraged to bring their ID’s and insurance cards — those who are uninsured will have to pay a fee of $20.33. All ages are welcome to attend.
“Vaccination is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself and your loved ones against COVID-19 and the flu,” Norfolk Department of Health Director Susan Girois, M.D. said. “We invite everyone in the community to take advantage of this convenient service and help us keep Norfolk healthy.”
