NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A 35-year-old man died after being shot over the weekend on Chesapeake Boulevard in Norfolk.
The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. Saturday in the 3100 block of Chesapeake Boulevard, police say.
Police say the man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died. He was identified on Monday as Michael C. Perry, of Norfolk.
Detectives haven’t released additional information in the case, but say Perry was shot while he was driving.
