NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – An 18-year-old man has died following a shooting Saturday evening in Norfolk.
According to a tweet from Norfolk Police Department, the call for the shooting came in just after 3:30 p.m. The shooting occurred in the 700 block of East Virginia Beach Boulevard. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
The man, later identified as 18-year-old Antonio Wilson, was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
No further information has been released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
