Local organization joins in to help Hurricane Helene victims

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — On Sunday, a local organization is joining in to send supplies to those in Asheville, North Carolina, following the destruction of Hurricane Helene.

The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) Norfolk Chapter 122 is hosting the drive on Sunday at Norfolk Greek Orthodox Annunciation Cathedral at 7220 Granby Street.

The supplies drop off prepping will start at 10 a.m. and they will be collecting supplies until 3 p.m.
