NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A Chesapeake man has been arrested after another man was injured in a shooting Friday night in Norfolk.
Police responded to the 3100 block of Mapleton Avenue around 11:47 p.m. Friday.
When they go to the scene, officers found a man who was suffering non life-threatening injuries. The victim was sent to a local hospital for treatment.
After further investigation, police arrested 30-year-old Chesapeake resident Breon D. Anthony with malicious wounding and the use of a firearm.
Anthony is currently in the custody of the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
