NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police have made an arrest in connection to a homicide from July, police said.
On July 21, around 7:20 p.m., police were called to a home in the 2100 block of Pretty Lake Avenue for a gunshot victim. They found a man suffering life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound. The man died at the scene and was identified as 24-year-old Norman Hollowell Jr.
As a result of the investigation, 23-year-old Steven Williams Jr. was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm. Williams was arrested on Tuesday and is being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
