NEWPORT News, Va. (WAVY) — A man faces life-threatening injuries after an overnight shooting in Newport News.
At approximately 2:35 a.m., Newport News Police responded to a report of shots being heard in Nicewood Drive.
Upon arrival in the 0 block of Nicewood Drive, officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are believed to be life-threatening.
