NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A 14-year-old who was shot last Tuesday afternoon on Youngs Mill Lane in Newport News has died, police said.
The teen was taken to a local hospital with at least one gunshot wound, where the victim died of his injuries late Friday, March 1.
Police responded to a call in reference to a shooting at 4:59 p.m. in the 400 block of Youngs Mill Lane and found the teen suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
There is no suspect information at this time, police said.
