Power outages impact areas of Isle of Wight County

    • ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – Thousands of residents in Isle of Wight found themselves without power on Thursday.

    According to Dominion Energy, about 1,700 customers are without power in Smithfield as of 9:55 a.m. This is down from around 4,200 outages at 9 a.m.

    Dominion crews are working to investigate the cause of the outages and to get power back to all customers.
