NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) has rolled out its career fair schedule for the remainder of 2024.

HRT is seeking to hire full-time and part-time bus operator trainees as well as full-time mechanics. 

Those interested should attend one of the following career fairs:

• Friday, Aug. 23, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Norfolk
• Friday, Sept. 20, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., Norfolk 
• Friday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., Norfolk 
• Friday, Nov. 15, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Norfolk 
• Thursday, Dec. 12, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., Hampton 

Attendees will be able to fill out an application, undergo a brief screening and possibly receive an on-the-spot interview.

The Norfolk career fairs will be held at 509 E. 18^th St., Building 4 in the front lobby. The Hampton career fair will be held at 3400 Victoria Blvd. in the main entrance.
