HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A teenager was shot overnight on Peabody Drive in Hampton.
Hampton dispatchers said they got the call around 3:30 a.m. for officers to respond to the 1300 block. The victim was still at the scene when officers arrived. He was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Peabody Drive is right across from the Hampton CarePlex Hospital.
The investigation determined the teen was shot while he was standing outside his home.
No suspect information or other details are available at this time.
