HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — An 18-year-old man died and another driver was injured after a crash Tuesday morning at Magruder Boulevard and Semple Farm Road, near NASA Langley.
Hampton police said the call for the crash came in at 9:20 a.m.
Two sedans collided at the intersection and both drivers were taken to local hospitals. The driver of one of the vehicles, 18-year-old Davey Budden Jr. of York County, died a short time later. The other driver, a 64-year-old man, is reported to be in stable condition.
The drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles.
The intersection of Magruder Boulevard and Semple Farm Road road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
