HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A 39-year-old Hampton man is in custody following a police pursuit in Hampton on Wednesday morning.

According to Hampton Police, the call for the vehicle pursuit came in just before 11:30 a.m. It began and ended in the 100 block of Doolittle Road.

The suspect, Roderick Coleman, was taken into custody at 12 p.m. He was wanted in connection to a federal probation violation, and police took out additional charges for reckless driving, hit and run, evade and elude and no insurance.

There were no injuries or damages reported following the incident.
