VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach police are conducting a death investigation after a person was found dead on Sunday night on W. Great Neck Road just south of Shore Drive.
Police were called to the scene in the 2200 block of W. Great Neck Road around 7:10 p.m.
At this time, police say the manner of death and the person’s identity are unknown. However, they say there were no overt signs of trauma to the body.
The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner, and the incident is still under investigation, police say.
