CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – The Chesapeake Police Department responded to reports of a hit-and-run Tuesday afternoon.
According to Master Police Officer Leo C. Kosinski, police were notified around 3 p.m. of a crash near the intersection of George Washington Highway and Sunset Drive.
Kosinski said it appears as if an SUV hit a white Nissan and then fled the scene. The Nissan then followed the SUV, where one of the vehicles eventually crashed into a power pole.
Drone video provided by Gibson Aerial Studios shows the two drivers getting into an altercation in a neighborhood. Police arrived shortly afterwards, putting one of the drivers in handcuffs.
