CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Officers are searching for whoever shot a 17-year-old boy Saturday in Chesapeake.

Just before 4 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 200 block of Outlaw Street in Greenbrier after receiving a report that someone was hurt. When they arrived, officers found a 17-year-old boy who had been shot.

The teen received medical care and was taken to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

At this time, there is no suspect description available.
