NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Newport News Fire Marshalls are investigating the cause of a fire at a vacant house on Richneck Road.
Firefighters were called to the 300 block of Richneck Road. around 2:30 a.m. Friday for a house fire.
Crews arrived within seven minutes and found flames coming through the roof of a home that was vacant for renovations. It took about 40 minutes to bring the fire under control.
No injuries have been reported.
