ACCOMAC, Va. (WAVY) — An arrest has been made in a murder case dating back to 2020 in Accomack County.
The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday that 37-year-old Edwin Colon Matias, of Bloxom, is now in custody and charged with second-degree murder in connection to the September 12, 2020 killing of Deandre Arness Abbott, of Parksley.
This comes months after indictment was issued against Matias back in May of 2023.
