CURRITUCK, N.C. (WAVY) — Five suspects were arrested on Wednesday after Currituck County deputies executed a search warrant on a house in Powells Point.
The Currituck County Sheriff’s Office says the house in the area of Jeff Forbes Drive was under investigation for the past several months in connection to reported drug complaints.
The charges range from felony possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine to unrelated charges for failure to appear.
Here’s the full list of suspects and charges:
- 52-year-old Donald John Snyder, of Powells Point, was charged with felony possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine and a misdemeanor paraphernalia charge.
- 59-year-old Michael John Gratz, of Powells Point, was charged with felony possession of fentanyl and a misdemeanor paraphernalia charge.
- 40-year-old Jamie Lee Wilson, of Jarvisburg, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor paraphernalia charge.
- 61-year-old Jeffrey Wade Forbes, of Powells Point, faces a misdemeanor paraphernalia charge.
- 29-year-old Brandon Lee McClure, of Powells Point, was arrested on an unrelated failure to appear charge.
Forbes was released after posting a $1,000 secured bond. The others remained in jail, including Gratz and Snyder being held on no bond.
